Awesome location
The property is amazing. The service is amazing. The food is amazing. We are looking forward to staying here again. It is only 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport and it was 15 minutes from the Catholic Church for Sunday Mass in English.

Great all inclusive in a beautiful Location
Great experience. Attentive staff, friendly and good food. Great trip all around. Resort is in great shape. They did a great job fixing it up post hurricane. Stairs to beach are still out but you can get down and up with a little jump.

Resort was very clean. We were not greeted immediately upon arrival and were unsure where to go. Then we were not provided instructions on basic things like how to order room service or the silly manual process of reservations for dinner. We were not shown where our room was. The bell man took our luggage last minute and then showed up a few minutes later to deliver it- when at that point, we could have just taken it to our room ourselves and avoided the need for a “tip”. The restaurant reservation system is ridiculous. You can order room service on your TV- but you have to physically go see the concierge at 9 AM, wait in line, they take your info, then call someone else for a confirmation number and then give you a piece of paper for your reservation time that’s required when you check in. Even then - we were only there for two nights- and could not get reservations because people book their entire week on their first morning. We attended the Landshark that was supposed to be casual informal attire and were turned away due to tank tops. But yet the JWB Steakhouse is a formal wear and there were people wearing flashy shorts and tie die Tshirts. The service was great at JWB and the lobby bar. But very slow at the buffet. Over all, nice resort and about what I’d expect for the sale price we paid. It would get repetitive for food for a full weeks stay.

We just returned from a week at Margaritaville and highly recommend it. There is room for confusion as there are 2 Margaritaville resorts in close proximity, this was the adults only resort. There is no usable beach currently. I know for some that is a non-negotiable. I feel they have done an excellent job of making up for that with abundant chairs and umbrellas, many with ocean view. The room was modern and so clean. We greatly appreciated the rainfall shower, and the fact that the water was hot at any hour of the day. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved the Kliptsh Bluetooth speaker provided. The alcohol was premium, and freely flowing. No watered down drinks here! We discovered the Iceberg very late in our stay, which was a frozen margarita served on draft beer, perfect for the pool. My only complaint in this department was no cranberry juice. The food was great. The scale of the resort plays a huge factor here. There are only 2 restaurants to reserve with formal service, bith of which had fantastic food. That said, you have seated, order off the menu/cooked to order bar food, and room service which we thought was the best in total from our other all inclusive experiences. We wished there was someplace to walk, but there just wasn't. The road in was not paved, and narrow, not suitable for walking. The staff is really the highlight here. They work incredibly hard and are so personable. It was terrific to make new friends from all over the globe.

The food was bland lots of selection just very bland. The drinks were off. Ceaser with tomatoe juice, coke was not coke cola but some other brand that did not taste right. Lots of drinks we had we ended up not enjoying. Once we found a couple they were good though. Other then that very beautiful place and very clean and wicked entertainment staff.

Overall the staff was amazing. a huge down fall is no where did I see on their site that they do not have a beach as it was swept away due to bad weather. I understand that this does not fall on the hotel but they shouldn’t false advertise and show the beach when one does not currently exist. The entrance to get to our hotel was very rough which made taxis increase the price to pick up and drop off there and other surrounding hotels. There are 2 restaurants that were first come first served but I waited over an hour at one of them while I watched other people “reserve” a place ahead of me that just walked up, so I was a bit confused on this. Other then these few downfalls the staff members were great, the hotel was clean, the bartenders were great, and if you are a person who doesn’t mind not having a beach but wants great service this is the place to stay.

El personal muy amable pero poco diligente. El día que llegue me enteré que la playa había sido afectada por los huracanes, a lo que yo pregunté si era posible tener acceso a la playa del otro Margaritaville. Dos personas en diferentes puestos me dijeron que averiguarían pues eso solo se podía si el otro hotel lo permitía, yo entendí y acepte. Yo llegué domingo, ambas personas atendieron mi petición a mi llegada…ya estoy de regreso en mi casa y aún estoy esperando respuestas. Jamás me llamaron o avisaron sobre el tema. No me dieron muchas opciones, a parte de ser yo la que sugerí el ir al otro hotel, solo que si quería ir a una playa pública tenía que tomar un taxi pagar $50 para ir a Cancún. Otra cosa, cuando hice la reservación me enviaron un correo preguntando si había algún motivo en especial por el que viajaba, les dije que era por mi cumpleaños. Para que preguntar si al final es irrelevante. Hasta cuando llegue les dije que al día siguiente era mi cumpleaños, y??? Cual es el punto de preguntar? No se si la atención es selectiva y la tienen con personas a las cuales ellos pueden sacar algún beneficio. Dos restaurantes disponible, el bufet no abría para la cena siempre, aunque habían como dije dos restaurantes disponible. La variedad del bufet del desayuno (para la altura de un Margaritaville) muy básica y repetitiva. Elegiría este hotel nuevamente? No! Esta era mi tercera vez en la Riviera Maya y en otros hoteles son más creativos y más baratos.
