I’d go back and I never say that!!
Stayed at hideaway with diamond club. Access to premium restaurants was helpful as others not so great. Free room service 24hrs. However the buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner was best I’ve seen, food freshly cooked infront of you. Loads of variety and very good quality. Romantic dinner on the beach was also very good quality. Beach is full of seaweed but excisions to beautiful beaches was good. Riding on gold buggies on one island was lots of fun! Location of hotel is quite far from anywhere so expect full day excursions. Was expecting a full sea view, but had side one with an upstairs with jacuzzi on roof which was a nice extra although only used once! Butler service not overwhelming but do make your dinner reservations for you. Adults only hideaway was great fun to watch entertainment by the pool, afternoons have a lively vibe but we happily observed from our cabana which was free. Drinks were excellent, good service around pool and bbq everyday too. One of best places I’ve stayed for the money, good value would recommend

Disappointing-Waste of Money for Diamond Club
We were so excited about this trip. It was a warm vacation during December. We upgraded to Diamond Club which was a complete waste of money! They had a separate check-in for Diamond Club but it took forever to check-in & they did not have the Luxury Suite Swim Out Diamond Club room that was guaranteed per our reservation. They offered us no compensation for the inconvenience. Another supposed benefit of Diamond Club is early check-in and late check-out. Neither of those were available. Next, they advertised a "$600 resort credit per room, per stay." When we asked about this, we were given a lame coupon book and every time we tried to use one, we were told that the excursion or activity (massage) did not qualify for the coupon. The coupons were not worth the paper they were printed on! Another benefit of Diamond Club was a butler for dinner reservations, complimentary bottles of wine or sparkling wine, reservations for excursions, etc. This was a joke! Our butler, Javier, met us at check-in and gave us this whole spill about all he could do for us. He promised us a bottle of vodka and a bottle of wine the first day. Plus, he said he would make dinner reservations for us. We gave him our requests and we NEVER heard from him again and we never got the bottles he promised. On top of everything, the Nexus Tour Company charged our room double for an excursion and we spent hours trying to resolve it. We spoke to several other guests who had the exact same experiences.

When I booked the room I had the option to get either a king size or 2 queens. I opted to get 2 queens. When i was checking in they told me i was getting a king and they couldn't fulfill my request. They said the price for the rooms were the same even though I showed them that they weren't. They couldn't provide any compensation nor could they put me into a room with 2 queens quite disappointing. Furthermore, i had told them well in advance that I would be adding an additional person for which they gave me a price for however they couldn't honor it since it was "high season". They had scheduled events for each day but it seemes like during the afternoon none of the events actually happened Falsely portraying information and even tho I had showed them proof is the biggest factor why i wont be coming back. Food on the other hand exceeded expectations which was thier only save and grace

We just returned from a honeymoon trip to Hideaway at Royalton! Food was phenomenal!! We tried all of the restaurants and didn’t have a single bad meal! The service in the restaurants was always good!! The drinks were good as well but not always consistent. We will return back to Royalton but the Hideaway was too loud for us. It’s a lot of groups partying instead of the relaxing vibe we were looking for! We were Diamond club and found that pool to be very calm and relaxing! The pools were chilly but it was December so I understand that. But we splurged for the swim out but it was freezing cold and we could barely swim in it. All together it was a great vacation!!
