"Pools were nice and as advertised. The village and lake and scenery are stunning. The hotel itself has a very classic feel and it is old school luxury. The room was nice. Great tub, albeit unnecessarily because pools. Indoor pools are open to 1am which is amazing as I got in late and was still able to get a quick outdoor soak (11pm close) and nice indoor soak.
The breakfast buffet was well set up. Price at $33 is kind of higher than I would pay for breakfast. But the selection was really good.

"This was our 2nd time staying at Aava. It is within walking distance to wherever we wanted to go in the village. Clean rooms. Enough towels for the 4 of us. Friendly staff. The only downfall, and this is with most hotels these days I'm noticing, is the check in time is 4:00 pm which seems so late. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again!"
"Liked that it was very walkable to Chinatown and Gastown areas. The room itself is clean and modern. We stayed here one night after an Alaskan cruise which ended in Vancouver. They checked all our luggage early which let us explore the city for one day before heading out. "
